Sure, you can fly but many people in Saudi Arabia drive to Bahrain. What if you don’t have a car? You can go to travel in Bahrain by Taxi too. But the cheapest way to go is by Bus.
Last weekend we made trip to Bahrain. We went by bus (SAPTCO:Saudi Public Transport co.) Not only Bahrain. But you can go many place around.
One way ticket from Dammam to Bahrain is 60 sr. It doesn’t take long time one the bus. But you have to go through passport check and custom. That will take some time.
The bus is quite nice(actually the van).
